A Business Analyst (BA) is a problem-solver and a bit of an practical engineer for connecting the dots in any business related project. My elevator speech is this, “I work as a consultant for large and small companies to help them improve their processes, their software, and their products and services in order to save money, pave a path to business growth through profitability and improve value to their customers.”
If you have any comments or stories about your experiences as a BA, feel free to write me.

The chapter also came in first place in “Community Involvement” and received second place awards for “Advancement of Business Analysis,” “Sustainable Growth,” and “Innovation.”
There is a reason why I entitled my site the “BA BottomLine,” it is because the Business Analyst must remain focused on the bottom-line at every turn, no matter what, the bottom-line will prove the “Valued” results toward business success.
Plus, the most interesting thing about analysis is that it is based on a foundation of knowledge, and as analysts we are always learning something new. One of my favorite mottoes is: “We know what we know when we know it…and there is always more to know.” I seek the truth…which is difficult sometimes.
I am happy to speak and give presentations regarding the BA profession. Depending on travel and expenses speaker fees are negotiable.
